Blouzaat from Jo Bedu
In collaboration with Jo Bedu, Amman's unique contemporary art tshirt store, Blouzaat introduces its latest installment, the second apparel collection from Blouzaat.
The past year was a difficult pill to swallow, and a slap in the face. Revolution, a weary economy, a promise of a spring that is yet to bloom, 2012 both emancipated and emasculated all at once. Seething with pent up, frustrated energy, Blouzaat has taken another look around itself, and into itself, and found chaos. Audacious and flippant, Blouzaat continue to serve up their insolent satire. The new collection features eight brand new designs, printed on tshirts and hoodies on a complete array of sizes and colors, artwork and design by Ahmad Sabbagh and Micheal Schinkothe, and produced by Jo Bedu . Handmade silkscreened posters in limited quantities were also printed for the launch of the new collection, along with hand painted and silkscreen prints on wood, printed by Blouzaat at The Studio.
